What is Environment?
When we talk about the environment, we usually refer to a couple things – the drinking water we have access to, the air quality around us and the weather in the sky. However, there are much more than what meets the eye. In order to work the environment for our body, we need to first understand exactly what is in each component and how it functions to work for our health.
The air quality around us
We know that air consists of about 79% nitrogen and 20% oxygen. The remaining 1% consists of other gases like carbon dioxide, ammonia and hydrogen. Some gases like formaldehyde and carbon monoxide are extremely harmful to our human body if in large amount.
Electromagnetic radiation
In the 21st century of our digital world, EMR is all around us. They are emitted by daily gadgets like power socket, power switches, routers, computers and even handphones! Wireless gadgets transmit on what we call the Radio Frequency (RF) whereas wired gadgets transmit on Low Frequency (LF), both of which emits radiation.
Dissecting our water
Water is an essential food to our human body. Without water, our body will not function. Our tap water contains minerals and a pH value of about 6.5 to 7.5. Most water has a positive Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) of about +400mV, an indicator of the cleaniness of the water and its ability to break down contaminants.
